Had a good morning on the water at NPD, with storm clouds overhead and rain not far away the bass came out to play. Managed to get double hookup on gidgee lures on the way down the dam,also a double on brolgas. Nearly a dozen on lures and 28 on shrimp. Found several different small schools and some of these were in 70ft of water.

As I have said before the schools are a bit smaller this year but they are still worth waiting for, the fish are all good quality.

When you say in 70 feet of water, do you mean the Bass were suspended this deep or just hanging at e.g.20-30 in 70 feet?

I took them trolling at 15ft in 70ft of water. Most fish were sitting at the 40ft mark, I tried casting and jigging blades and jackals to the school but they were not interested.
