Heading to Theodore

Leaving tomorrow for Rockhampton for a week and then Theodore for six weeks. Will hopefully do some fishing in Rockhampton if I can squeeze it in, and definitely in Theodore. Anyone from Theodore, or been there and have some pointers of where to fish? Seems like the town is on the Dawson river and seems like there are things to catch like saratoga...any pointers on chasing those babies would be appreciated too.

Angus - well...yeah. haha I get your point though, was just wondering if there were specific spots or tactics. I don't know what a sootie grunter is besides google, but I'll see what I can pull up!

Jono - thanks for the thread link - sounds like at a bare minimum I'm decently set up with my well-loved spinnerbaits. Did you manage to nab a toga?

Anyone have gear recommendations? I seem to do ok in freshwater so far with 6lb braid, 2-4 kg rod, Sienna 2500.
