Threadybustin over the weekend

Recommended Posts

Been reading all the SoO reports, seems like everyone had a great time, good on ya to all attendants.

I've been working hard on various things here and with the electric still in repair (no idea when it's coming back to me but hopefully soon) fishing opportunities have been slim, however I got out once over the weekend and found a few fish on the glowing vibes.

was a nice break from working and cant wait till the electric is back on track

cheers

Gudgeons nothing ominous  bit off topic though, trying to breed and raise local diadromous gudgeons.

been using owner st-56 3x trebles in size 4 lately, 1 on the front only on the thready and 1 forward and back for the jew

depending on my mood really i'll run one on the front only or one on both hook points, you get more action out of a lure with just the front hook on (esp when they're large hooks such as the size 4 st54s) and the hookup is also more secure in my opinion, but if the fish are timid you stand more chance hooking them with more hook points obviously

Couple nice fish there as always mate... I still reckon the Brissy is one of if not the most highly underated fishery in Aus ay.. I dont claim to know much about Sydney harbour and the Swan etc but even on fishing shows from up North you dont see TF the size we have here.. Amazing the fishing shows and mags haven't raped it considering it's proximity to one of Australia's largest citys. Question is will the Jew continue to get bigger each year aswell or will it remain a habitat for the schoolies..
