Simple as it may be...

Berkley Attack 6"6 rod with Abu Garcia Cardinal 102i loaded with 6Lb Stren braid and 6Lb SunRock Flourocarbon leader.

If I'm fishing with lures (soft or hard) I have 6" of flouro leader, attached directly from the main line to the lure (slim beauty knot), but when I'm bait fishing with prawns/mullet/bread, I simply attach a flouro rig straight from the main line, consisting of very small running sinker to a very small hook..... Works every time!

cheers!

Only the 2508 and 2500 have that much drag...

I have it in my hot little hands right now. Came from FishHead in Cleveland today. Instead of the polished RCS design, these are availible in Red or Blue and have significantly less material on the spool, having 'windows'as such cut into the lower half.

Counter hand swore black and blue these now sport 7Kg of drag, I argued. All 3 staff ended up backing the claim for 7Kg of drag
