Gold Coast Landbased Fishing

Got a friend heading down to Gold Coast to show some visitors around. Figured I would hitch a ride and go fishing instead considering I've never fished there before

Been doing a little research and found this site on the internets

Anyone fished those spots before? Listed under Fishing Platforms in the link above.

Was also thinking about the waterway behind the hotels/ titanium bar. Since they will probably make a trip to Cavill ave.

Any suggestions or recommendations for fishing spots around surfers much appreciated

Any of the canals down there hold fish mate, just tryna lure em out is the prob haha

I know the tweed wall holds good numbers and sizes of bream. Have never fished there myself but have seen plenty whilst scuba diving there. Worth throwing a plastic or a piece of bread at.
