went out with rob in his boat a few times during the comp.was in his boat and we were trolling over spot X for some jewwies when he hooked up to this buety of a fish.

I managed to get a few pics of nonames big girl that took first place flatty at the SoO.before releasing it.

cheers mick, and thnx for the hand too, never gunna boat a fish like that to easily single handed, so thanks, still got the cheque in my wallet for a few beers 1 night with a few of the lads, i like how everything was caught on the exact same lure too ay. :laugh: persistance and beliefe in your gear helps too, everything was caught on 6 lb line and leader, lucky we never really hooked up near julian rocks outside mick ay, that might have been another story :laugh: might still be out there now !!! :woohoo:

Trolling hard bodies. all the fish on the same lure. I forget the name of them but I know they were bought for $3.00 each.tilson barra clasics worked as well.

i pretty much took down a bag of 3 types of lure but only used the 1 style of lure in the 1 color, those that know me know what it was caught on, and apparently the lure is no good bcos it's cheap and not over $10 to purchase, so go the $ 3.50 lures, why ya think i bought 150 of em lmao, no bait what so ever was used for the weekend.tried plastics to but don't have the confidence in them as i do in the hb lures so i stuck with what i knew best and just persevered.
