Buying a boat - Revs checks?

Just a general question that I have been thinking of. When you buy a car, a revs check can be done to make sure of title and any incumberment. Can you do the same when buying a boat, and what is the process as the boat and trailer are separate registration items.

Yeah you have to do a separate one for your boat and trailer. Pretty sure its the same number 13 13 04

Or just google the fair trading website.

I did a Revs check on a boat I bought several months ago.

I had to do 3 checks all at once,Boat,Motor and Trailer.

Combined cost was $37.50 and you need a credit card so they bill you for it.

They send out a paper copy the next day for you.
