Hey guys, a mate and i decided to take my boat out today, tried something different for a change and soaked some prawns and try for some bream.

Day started out extremely slow with not even a nibble, trying everywhere, up around johnsons rock and a couple other spots.

Hours later once the tide had came out abit, that's when we began to get bites more frequently. Got a solid hookup to something nice, short little fight but quite a good one came in a nice sized bream goin 31.5cm to the tip . I was happy to avoid the donut.

The next couple hours caught about 4 more, not quite as big but still not bad. My mate than caught a stonefish, and than a little bream . Also saw davo dinkum out in his little tinny heading up to johnsons to target some flattys, not sure how he went though

Quite happy with how the day went, good to give the boat a run and catch some fish.

ar unlucky davo, you try around johnsons aye, how far you go up?
