Bait boards

Chasing a alloy bait board for my stacer nomad. Been quoted 550 for a genuine stacer bait board with 4 rod holders. My question is does anyone on this forum recommend me someone who could make me one ?

Local bloke from Greenbank area. Spoke to him once about a board for my boat, but then got another idea.

The other idea was just a baitboard mounted on custom made bent legs which sits up and out over the outboard. But pretty soon after doing it I converted to almost 100% plastics, so have never used it.

I have a baitboard and tank made by Baitmate. I think the guys name is Rod.

All I can say is excellent build quality and great service. When I was getting mine made up about six months ago I drew up a design with exact dimensions and went for a drive to meet him. He made a few suggestions to make the design more practical and a two weeks later he made it millimeter perfect according to the plan.

He didn't charge any extra for a custom job either.

Don't have any pics handy of mine but probably not what you are after as it has a big live bait tank and rod holders set up for trolling offshore. Have a look on the link Booty posted as there are heaps of pics of different variants.

I cam from a sh!tty plastic job to the baitmate. Powder coated aluminium is way nicer and at least you can trust the rod holders.

Just went to see the guy mentioned. Rod is easy to deal with and very helpful. Got a custom design powder coated fir $280 if anyone is after a bait board go n see rod top bloke

Got my bait board top work can't complain rod delivered it to my place at no extra charge. Working on pics. Straddiebrad rod is easy to deal with N is on time . Work is top notch and would recommend anyone looking for bait boards rod holders etc to go see rod

i will b purchasing my baitboard via baitmate......very good quality and a fraction of the cost others are asking....if not for unexpected expenses (rebuild motor) i would have it already....
