well its that time of year when the sharks come on the chew :woohoo: looking at heading down to shultz canal the weekend after next. anyone who wishes to come along to get some tips or just to have a bit of a social event is more than welcome.

Pity, I just sold my sharking outfit to katfish to get something a bit lighter. Where exactley is Shultz canal by the way? I might come along just to have a chat if I'm free

this is lookign better than expected. yeah saturday 11th. it will be landbased a meet up at nudgee road? theres a fair bit of walking to do unless you have push bikes? i think its 2 k's. transport to the spot im sure you guys can work out.

nah mate sorry im away the whole two weeks at noosa. but i should be free most of the 6 week holidays and every second weekend until then. i feel we may be a bit to early for them but we should be able to pull a couple before they really go nuts.

looks like its going ahead. bicycles are nearly essential after a second thought. the only other thing we gotta work out is the time. what time suits you all?

where exactly is this ? im staying in brisbane for october right around the corner from where nudgee rd hits kingsford smith drive. is there any sharking spots close to there ?

where nudgee road crosses shultz canal to the left towards the mouth there is gold at high tide. but it shallows out at low.

yeah to the right of that map is where you can try. its getting warm as and just seing mick fillets attempts is making me more and more confident.

Drive along the gateway or M3 or whatever they call it heading North and take the turn off for nudgee at the BP.

to me that looks like nudgee ck, this is a greenzone anad is quite shallow. The spot he was meaning if follow nudgee beach right up the creek to where to suddenly gets smaller than up another 200m or so.

Anyone Keen on a session down there today? Not the normal tide but just feel like going for a fish. Different spot and you need a fourby to get down there but no worries if you dont you can always jump in my car to get down.
