queensland Weekend Freshwater Yak Anyone?

Hey Guys,

Well I have not fished fresh water in Brissy yet and am keen to get out there. I don't have a permit.

Was thinking of trying either Ewan Maddick or Maroon this weekend, anyone else keen? I need someone to show me the ropes, I don't have spinnerbaits so it will be a SP day for me, wouldn't mind trying to catch a big old yella.

If the weather is okay, I would like to be on the water by sun up and off again by about 10.

I am supposed to go up to Double Is. point for the weekend, but if that falls through I am deffinetly keen to hit the dam. I haven't fished Ewen Madock but I have heard some reports from there. What day were you thimking of heading there?

BTW, the stocked impoundment permits are very easy to get, just get on the DPI website.

If possible I will make it Saturday, then I can be a man of leasure Sunday.

I am now thinking I might just sneak down to Wello Point for a few hours early Saturday. 10 min drive is sounding better at this stage then a 1hr and 10.

Might take a few days off next month and try to organise a trip to one of the dams.
