Decided to try my luck after reading djfox's report on fishing the BNE river in Auchenflower, opposite the Wesley Hospital.

It would have been quite a walk from where I lived so I fished the river from the banks of the river near the exit of the bikeway to the Shell station on Coronation Dve. (Lang Pde, Coronation Dve set of lights).

Fished in the arvo between 1:30 and 4:pm on both days. Snagged a catfish and cod on the first day. Bream and cod on the second day.
