So finally got a saturday night off work :woohoo: after shopping for a good part of the day :( decided to go for a fish even with the weather looking terrible and rain looking almost certain decided id rather be wet and fishing then bored at home. Grabbed some gear hooks floats sinkers grabbed some bread packed it into a backpack grabbed the rods and the bike and i was off. after a quick 5 min ride to a spot that has been producing well for me nothing huge but heaps of fish and a good variety. got to the spot and some mullet were around and the spot was looking alright so set up and had one with bread under a float the other a rig on the bottom after getting snagged on the bottom decided to just use hooks no weight as the mullet were going crazy well my bread sunk underneath the school when wham :woohoo: a solid hit then some good weight was defintely not a mullet got him away from the structure and up popped an average size creek carp. this was just the start nailed tilapia and carp constantly using this tactic even letting it rest on the bottom and leaving some slack in the line so there is no tension then setting the hooks nailed a fair few carp and a couple of tilapia and a mullet underneath the float got a good size tilapia around 35 cm or more caught plenty of fish and a great way to spend a few hours anyway was awesome. For a little old run off creek it sure produces some fish and has kept me preocuppied for a fair few years now and the fishing has dropped off either. hopefully going to woody point tomorrow morning so should be good.

thanks for the read hopefully pics will add :D
