Are Dragnetts worth it?

I have seen them for 90 dollars or so and wondering if i should get on as they seem good on catching live bait? or should i just stick to the cast net?

You need 2 people to effectively use a drag net and one of them gets the deep end.They are ok as you can cover a larger area of water but make certain that you have good footwear for the bull routs and stone fish.

Drag net was all that we used years ago before cast nets became readly available.

Personally all I use nowdays is a cast net.

used to use a drag net at peel and Morton island ,2 blokes and half a dozen kids .good times .

but i didn't see many cast about back in them days .

i see a lot more cast nets around these days than drag nets .

not sure why ,maybe cause a cast net is cheaper or cause u can use it 1 person .

Yer. i dont know if i should just stay with the cast net. its a hard one
