queensland Arvo lily session

Was a bit bored yesterday arvo so I slipped out to the lily pond where I was greeted by the wind and rain once again, gee and they reakon we are in for lots more. I put in a hundred casts before I managed to get this monster

Then as it got later in the arvo I managed to get onto a few of the larger brutes that hang out in this water

They may not be the biggest bass around but they realy put up a good fight in amongst the lilies.

these look much leaner than the ones at npd... i agree with ted, beats sitting around at home (which i'm currently doing )

Npd not to kind this morning, not even one bass , I caught 3 gar then headed home early, dont know how Ray and Ty got on they were into the gar also when I left.

Counted 7 cars there this arvo, tagged 8 from around the corner before going off the bite, will be back at sparrow fart tomorrow morning to fall over in the mud again

Put another 15 000 in there today and 12 200 Yella's Denis

Shaggy I took the fly gear one day but found that by the time you get them in through the lilies it scares all the others away. Would be OK in the big open areas though. I use light spin gear.

Steve goody goody I hope they are able to grow to great lengths and are left in there.
