Finally on the water

Finally I am no longer confined to land base fishing.

I picked up this little guy on the weekend

Came with a 5hp suzi, fuel tank and anchor for $150! :woohoo: very pleased.

But what I would like to ask is, where can a little tinny (10ft) and motor like this get me? I'm gonna hit the GC canals for some bream but where else could I take it to get something a little bigger?

nice boat mate. my bro and i share a tinny just slightly bigger than yours at 3.4m and we always keep an eye out for wind, tide etc before we head out. it can get pretty uncomfortable on a rough day but if your aim is fishing the canals and creek, it should be fine. hope you catch lotsa fish from it

Looks good for 150. I'm sure it would be alright in the brissy river, just keep to the sides out of the way of bigger vessels also jacobs well. logan river etc, good luck with it.

Brizzy river on the right day, pumicestone passage, noosa river, coomera river, jacobs well, most of the little rivers in northern NSW. Plus all the freshwater options that haven't even been covered!
