i have come to the point, that i am in desperate need of a flick so i have decided that im going fishing today even if it rains, i dont know where i will go yet but aslong as theres plenty of water im happy.

btw does freshwater turn flathead off being in shallow water, i have figured with all this rain around i dont have my hopes up for catching a flathead for my grandfather today, but.. ya never one might smash my soft plastic.

Considering you get flathead right up into the Brisbane River freshwater I doubt it.

The way things are going, if you hold off for another day or two, you might be a good chance of some reefies around Oxley way - just have to deal with snagging up on the odd roof.
