I've been that bored this week with the crap weather I went out and bought some flashy materials and made up some snapper flashers of my own.. Hopefully they will work okay have made up some pasternosters and some single hook rigs, the stuff is from a fly tackle shop up here so it should be okay when wet, if anybody buys them made up they will know they sell from $10 up to $15 each, this way it works out much much cheaper.:laugh:

Nice work daveylad. Did u use circle hooks and what size? I've been thinking of blinging up some of my paternoster rigs so look forward to seeing how you go with yours.

Yes, I tend to use circle hooks most of the time, the vice came from a fly tie shop at Mooloolaba only $29. makes it much easier to tie them hopefully this week wil give them a hurl,weather allowing:whistle:

its funny that a bait jig costs $2 but once you put a big hook on it and heavy line it goes up to $15
