Fishing Clubs

Hello all,

can anyone recommend any good fishing clubs in brisbane? i am a novice and only cathc by fluke rather then any skill.

i'd like to learn from people who know what they are at. i have a 4wd and enjoy surf fishing but would love the option to get out every now and then in a boat.

any suggestions would be great.

you've joined a fishing club just by getting on AFO. since i joined a year ago my catch rate has improved (still wouldn't say i'm much more than novice, just a more sucessfull novice!)

just keep an eye out for AFO events/socials, decky spots and read the reports on here and you should learn quite a bit.

Welcome mate, As Neal said, always worth keeping an eye out on here. Look out for the events, plus decky spots are always going. Or you can just whack up a going fishing notice to see if anyone is interested in tagging along.
