queensland any spotties on mermaid reef yet

just wondering if there has been any catches of mackerel on the mermaid reef as of yet

we fished palmy on thursday and. around 430 in the morning we were troling down towards palmy and we trolled past a few boats that were set up there so i reckon they might be. also when we got back to the ramp a bloke said that they were chewin there heads directly east just off outside the seaway . by the sounds of it there bloody every where.

definatly at the palmy boiling up /busting up right next to the boat while anchored we coulnt get one unfurtunatly. hope it helps.
