caught it under the ephraim island bridge at gold coast. was caught on mullet flesh as bait, and it was pretty zippy and lotsa fun on the light gear!

after googling around, i have to agree its a pennant fish !

i'd call it Alectis ciliaris, the problem with using common names is that they change wherever you go, a pennant fish to me (being an aquarium nerd) is a tropical marine fish similar to the moorish idol.

the other problem with this fish is the juvenile and adult forms
