Tweed River Bream/Flatty sessions

Hey guys

Headed down to Tweed Heads for Christmas, so was a perfect opportunity for some fishing even though the whether was pretty terrible for most of the weekend. On Saturday, uncle and I launched my boat and drifted along the main river's rocky wall's and oystery rock's for a number of small bream on both hard-bodies and plastics.

We fished flat's for most of the day with hard bodies. hooking up to a number of fatties. Managed 4 flatties (two each) all around the 45cm mark, most of em on hard bodies.

Sunday, we decided to brave the rain again. It poured down all day but didn't stop us from giving it a crack anyway B) . Once again fished flat's most of the day with around 6-7 bream on the hard-bodies and 1 Flatty. Once again a few lost fish, but overall another fun session.

Yeah Den, the atomic's are deadily aye, got a couple on the damiki's aswell. There was a lot of crap floating around. You could see the fresh seperated from the blue salty ocean water. So basically we had to keep travelling further towards the mouth, although we didn't catch a few in the dirtier water near were we launched in the ABT.
