haha so with all the floods in chinchilla at the moment, people hav e been filling their boats up with fuel from the pumps :laugh:

Suprised they let anyone pump gas from there. They have small breather valves which equalise the pressure in there so there is no vacuum, but the more you empty them, the more chance you have of having them float up and straight out of the forecourt pavement.

Good pics Jack. I just got back to Brissy this arvo after being in Chinchilla since Boxing day. It's getting a little deep out there hey ?

I've been through a couple of floods out there now and this one is getting spooky. Could be more water coming mate so fill your boats tank and keep your socks dry.

i have got some pics of the flooding of the roads when i was on my way back from hervey bay, if you lookj close you can see the meter say 1m high

and then the funnie thing was that we had to go thro a detore and then that road was blocked by a big truck that was on its side across the road
