So i have completely confused myself, with all the wet weather i decided i needed some new / upgraded gear. I started surfing the web for 2 new reels both in the $300 range - give or take a bit , preferably take - i jumped on ebay American and things were going ok but then i stumbled across a Japanese site that had a hand full of reels in that price range that i had never heard of and that i could not find any info on like review etc - thanks for the tip Noname haha!! - things like Bradia's Soare ci4, Exsence ci4's etc so i was hoping for some suggestions that would fit the bill, I have a ci4 stradic 2500 and a Luvias 2000 but was looking for something different but not going to kill my budget eg - stella etc. What reels have AFOer bought that they would recommmend

1 is to go on a Lucky raft Reaction Tube 6 -20lb using 15lb braid for snapper, jew thready, jacks etc

and

1 is to go on a Pflugher Supreme AST 2 -4 kg for bream flatty, squire etc using 8lb braid

Also if you guys have come across so good reliable cheap international - us, japan etc - sites that you wouldnt mind sharing please also let me know

Picked up a Heartland XA 200 with 2 spools of castaway PE for just over $400, good value if you ask me, at Tackle Warehouse.

I always prefer to buy from a shop, buying online from over seas may be cheaper, but it doesn't help the Australian market.

The only things I buy from over seas are car parts for my AE86. But thats only because there are no parts here.

I bought a D.A.M. quick release spool reel 2000 recently, german made 10 bearings etc, don't know really how it compares to more expensive shimanos etc but I love it. kind of old school styling and super smooth, drag is excellent and adjusts precicely. Use it for flicking sp's and hard bodies with 8lb then swap spools with heavier line and use it as my heavy estuary / shark rig.
