is it worth goin to the barra park at bli bli because and what bait work best too.

Don't expect to get many over the holidays though! (Angus got a nice one there last week, and I got less-nice one there in a separate trip last week, while not much else was happening in the park).

my best advice is fish very light 4/8lb use their pellets use plenty of berley "their pelletts"

hot calm days and best of all evenings

no wind

go to the lee shore if any wind

their tiny hooks work very well

yea mate can be well worth it ,def try wat the others b4 me said and in the big boys pond i always use liveys, pottys, herring ,ect. presentation the key and as light leader as pos and oh yea the off season when there hungry the most .good luck you will have fun there cheers

Mate have a nice light leader and use the pellets to get them into a frenzy on the surface. Put a live mullet on a sharp hook (owner/gamakatsu live bait and suicide pattens) without any weight at all and chuck it into the middle of the "boofing" fish. Should get you onto one =).

Just don't do what I did and forget to out drag on when you want to set the hook....... The result is alot of knots in braid =s

had a look on Ausfish at lunch. Pages of posts there with tips on the barra park and plenty of photos. Check it out for some more info, but most of it is as already mentioned (go light)
