queensland Bribie water clarity

Was thinking of heading to bribie landbased for the weekend to flick for flathead.

Does anyone know what the water colour is like around Whitepatch, Pacific Harbour canal entrance, or near buckleys.

Also, is there much weed abouts?

Should be ok on the incomming tide just look for the clean water and you will find the fish, will be tea coloured on the out going tide and fish will be few and far between

Bribie has been fishing terribly since the rain. i went out monday and only managed 1 bite for 1 fish, and that was with bait. Even the little fellas have been missing on the baits.

Have found it tough fishing with placcies, couldnt even raise a hit around donnybrook or the mouth of ningi creek. Should be better by the weekend if the rain stays away, but i think it will be a forthnight before the fish start venturing back up there

this is the colour from in the canals last week. also a shitload of weed all over the flats.

and here's a pic of the water in my livewell. Pretty dirty as you can't even see the fish in there.

Fish will still bite in the canals if you know what you're doing
