queensland buckat list off moreton 19/1/2011

I decided to take an old mate of mine out to see how bad the bay was after the floods. we headed up to cape moreton from scarborough marina, it was muddy all the way across to moreton with a few logs floating by.

The fishing was okay ,caught about 15 fish , the best being the picture attached. caught on a red and white gulp plastic on a very heavy jig head. fought it for 20 minutes on my new okhuma 2 speed TG 3011, made life easy.

Normally I let big fish go but this fish was badly hooked so we took him home for dinner. It was excellent eating.
