Jarvis walker electric motor

What good timing... I have recently bought a little tinny too and need to repower it and have been wondering if its worth putting the same engine on the back for canal use.

How do they go pushing against the current or with a little bit of chop?

Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread...

i was down at wavebrake island,

heading from the boat ramp to the island ,just got out of the creek/river mouth and broke the sheer pin .

i used the 54 lb water snake to motor a 14.6 fibre glass boat back in to shore.

it was slow as the tide was running out and the wind was pushing me from the side ,but i made it back .

arrow is the wind direction .

red dots are where i broke down ,then drifted across to the rock wall .

them motored back in .

once i was in the river mouth it was all good ,but while i was out in the strong wind i had to use a paddle to keep me off the rocks and motor to push me forwards.
