4 k's an hour seems quite fast full of fuel and a few buddies goin out for a fishin trip, i would wanna see that to believe it, remember he's a dealer, and will telly you ther sun rises from your asre if there is a dollar in it for him. very thirsty engines, it would be ok if you were writing the fuel usage off on tax. but privately , phew, good luck. a boat that size would be lucky to be plaining at 3000 rpm would be my guess.

from info i have read on these boats with 250hp 2 strokes the wot 51mph and cruise at 30mph...just cannot find any info on the fuel usage ....could only find a 20ft seaferer full of fuel with 4 blokes weighing 1500kg it planned at 2200rpm at 4000rpm it done 68km/h using 65ltr/hr and wot 92km/h using 100ltr/hr...the wellcraft is around the 1900kg full of fuel and gear..

thats what they want you to believe, a friend has a victory 6 meter with an under propped prop on it and it plaind at 2600 with a four stroke and got me beat how a 2 stroke will plain so much earlier althought they are a way doughier engine. just like the e tec 3 year warranty.. all bogus if used once in fresh water and even then recomended more frequent servicing, but the dealer always says it's 3 years b4 the first service, and so many got sucked into that. believe me.

the so called reviewer needs rootin. a seafarer 6 meter victory will weigh a lot more than what he has stated, 4 ppl with a cobined weight of say 80 kg x 4 is ummmm 320 kg 220 litres comming in at 75% of the litres would be roughly another 160 kg this is straight away 480 kg off that weight. and a seafarer weighin in at under 1 tonne for a 6 meter boat, sh!t thats light, even the factories dont give an actual weight, so dont be fooled by that, my mates victory 6 meter seafarer weighs in at 2300kg filled with fuel, but otherwise dry, with a 150 yammy 4 stroke. and thats over a weigh bridge, so somethin doesnt add up here, sure as hell the trailer doesnt weigh 1400 kg. dont be sucked in by what you read or dealers especially tell you.
