Shopping for fishing gear

Going shopping for new rods and boat stuff today with the old man! Amyone got any advice on what to grab,I would like to hear your thoughts/Ideas.

I assume you want a reply,so here goes...Big decisions... I`d buy 1 of everything that way you cover all your bases,then after you realise what gear you don`t use ,you can sell it for half price and then with that money,buy half of what you actually need. :side:

Nice idea,i was thinking of going fishing up the beach,But if i get my boat regoed i gunna hit the river,so i might grab a new little boat rod and some soft lures,
