Gulp Special at BCF - Dodgy??

Well seeing the 3 for $22 or so at BCF I had to stack up on my plastics. After a casual trip to BCF and my shiney new Gulp plastics, I found that 6 out of the 8 packets I got the plastics were hard, twisted or out of shape. What a waste of money!!!

The Gulp Prawn tails were all twisted, the Pearl watermelon minnows were dry and hard and the Nuclear Chicken minnows were all deformed.

I don't think I've ever had this issue but there is clearly a reason why they were on special.

Meanwhile, the 3" Pumpkinseed grup is the bomb diggity! Always my go to!

I recommend anyone having a close inspection on plastics they purchase to avoid this shite.

thats not a special.Kmart every day prices are $7 each packet 3 packets from Kmart cost ya $21. Kmarts got good stock turn over and most of there plastics are good quality and the juice is not dicoulored in the pack.

Kmart's got tones of stuff thats a fair bit cheaper then BCF. The range is pretty good too.

As mick said, good stock turn over.

They sell alot of the gulps so its not just sitting there for weeks and weeks or constantly being handled.

Agree with the above I never get my plastics at BCF, K-mart and Big W are the go. Scorpion hardbody lures are also a touch cheaper at Big W.

yep.. avoid any gulp packs where the juice is the colour of your pee after a big night on vodka redbulls.

yer i always get alot of my plastics or hbs from big w or kmart as they are not a specialist ie rip off fishing shop so they dont mark up as much

Definitely take them back - and if they insist on replacement or store credit, just tell them that they are breaching the Trade Practices Act - which they are if they insist on anything other than full refund for faulty goods.
