It's definitely a Slatey. I think you'll find the spots are dislodged scales haha.

they are ok if bleed and put in a slurry

In the words croc dundee they taste like shit but you an live on them. :whistle: :whistle: My youngest daughter caught 1 about 3 yrs ago and it went 55cm bleed them they should be better then that 1 we had as I didn't bleed it.

they taste pretty good mate. As said bleed them and ice them. The flesh is a little drier than other reefys but all in all a good feed especially if done in beer batter hmmmm
