I went fishing today, got my first bream!! How exciting.. but in the mean time, got bitten by mosquitoes a lot!!!!!! Any advice? Any product recommended?

There was a scam going round when I was a boy. It started with an advertisement for a 100% sure-fire way of getting rid of mossies. You pay your money and they send you 2 bricks with the instructions - "Step 1 place mossie on first brick; Step 2 place second brick on first brick, repeat until mossie is dead"

apparently the method is 100% effective.

Rid or bushman, anything with DEET will work.

once you are mauled by them I find the only way to settle the itch and rednes is to take zyrtec for 4 days. I agree bushmans is good

i always wear long sleeve shirt/pants and cover any exposed area in aeroguard

the other solution is to take someone with you that the mozzies like more as the sacrificial anode

I concur with Dan, just make sure to spray your clothes with a bit of spray, as the buggers seem to mutate every year into bigger specimens with tougher suckers lol.

go on to kitbag or sas supplies website and buy the australian army mozzie rep, its 5 bucks a tube and contains enough deet to melt your face off, its all I use and it works really well
