G'day all,

It has been quite a while since I have posted, having been pretty busy with work. I finally got out into the fresh again last night, after a month off, and was glad I did.

Using the trusty phleuger 1-3kg spooled with 2lb, I got six hits on the poppers with no fish landed (a bit out of practice), and was soon joined by James W, who tied on a barra lure lol, with three bass caught. I changed over to a Halco Laserpro after seeing his results, and managed two bass, one going 45cm, before calling stumps at about 2100.

It was great to see you again Jimmy, and just awesome to get out again after such a long break.

No pics sorry, was quite unprepared ha ha ha :silly: !!

Work has really taken the fun out of this one mate, we are passing straight through Townsville until we get to the training area....no fishing doh!!! Watch this space however, as it has been raining non-stop up there and we are a maybe that it will be called off (fingers crossed). As for my ugly mug, it IS a shame about that, I guess my over-abundance of charisma, coupled with wit and charm, was a gift to compensate? Lol!

Thanks Mate, yep, I hate that word, it is the bane of my existence at the moment. Fortunately, I have some time this arvo to further distance myself from it, and am heading back up for another crack during the arvo/evening.

The w*r% trip to Townsville has been canned, however they are exploring other options doh! Hopefully there is a bit of a reprieve from taking off again soon.
