received another fysshe lure order last week and decided to take my basic red black lil somerset out for some bass action. the session started a lil slow but eventually i hooked a great bass that went 55cm :woohoo: quick pic and release and the very next cast i scored another bass not quite as big but still a rippa. a week earlier my mate scored a 58 which i will try and get the pic from him as it looks like a monster..

wow Wes. Awesome awesome stuff. not ong now and you will be showing us a 60+ bass. How many days a week do you fish mate?
cheers i usually fish twice a week after work or on the weekend.. :)

Mate where do you get the lure's?

cheers, the bass did not come out of somerset thats the name of that lure, lil somerset. the lures are hand made at taylors beach north queensland will look up his web page now.fysshe lures australia in google search will lead you to his site.. do not know how to put link up here :huh::)

Wes you have the sweetwater gift mate no doubt about it. Seems like every time i see one of your posts it has some horse freshwater fish in them.

Or monster bully, jew or snapper......It seems like a gift.......I don't think I have it lol!!!

great fish mate i used to buy those fom him at brasall ipswich 15-20 ago my first hard body catches were on his lil somerset in green yellow and oange and i remember spangle perch would go mad on the maroon in black and white although the lure was bigger than a lto of them great to have found him again i will have to contact him and get some lures from him

he is a top bloke hey! known him since i was 11 and fished his lures all them years along side my dads and my own :) he is livin the dream now with barra, jacks, threadies, GT and all sorts just out from his house. can not wait to get up there soon for a visit and a fish or 2 :lol:
