Tally fires up with a new PB Faltty

Hi all, just got back from a few hours down at at Tally.

I don't know what's happened down there but it was on fire today.

Fished a few of the usual spots around the banks and channels, picked up 2 flatties 40 and 48 on the trusty Strikepro bass x in clear and pink, and 4 trevs on a natural coloured super bream lure, they went 45 and 54 respectively.

Went a bit quiet after that all but a few missed hits, so I tie on a plastic (I've been playing with weedless set ups lately,) 3inch minnow in nuke chicken walked further down to some weed beds I've been wanting to smash for ages.

2nd cast the plastic got smashed and after a short fight up come a 68cm flatty, 2 more casts over the next bed, line starts screaming off like crazy, after 4 huge runs up comes mum, 83cm flatty.

Gotta say I was pretty chuffed.:woohoo:

After a few snaps she was gently put back to swim away unharmed. What a rush.

I figured things couldn't really get much better than that, but put in a few more casts and picked up another 4 flatties, under 40.

All in all a great few hours of non stop action.

Yeah mate weedless seem to work great just stuck a worm hook in, and a really small (size 1 I think ball sinker as it was shallow) loop knot and bobs ya uncle.
