queensland Arvo flick near NPD

Went for a flick down around NPD, the water was flowing quite quickly as they were releasing water from the dam. Bumped into Ryan Young as he was launching his yak, nice to meet you mate. Saw him pick up a little bass on his 2nd or 3rd cast. Inspired by this started flicking around a little jointed ebay lure and quickly landed a mid 20's bass. Didnt get another hit for an hour or two, until i went across the other side of the creek and started fishing upstream. landed another mid 20's bass and finished of with a 36/37cm bass that smashed me right along the grass. First time I've fished this stretch, and was amazed by the number of people there! Must have been 6 or 7 other groups of people fishing the same area, both by kayak and foot. Some of the WBB brigade was out, didnt get a look in their bucket but saw them land half a dozen bass, didnt see them go back...

Planning on hitting it again tomorrow night.

great stuff mate. it dose not matter if there 20cm or 50cm they are still great fish to target and catch. once you catch one your hooked. nice work
