I think its got a bit of both. Cause u get shrimp and other fresh water speices

Hmmm don't think it's a Bass, actually looks a bit like a Spanglie but the colouring isn't quite there, sort of looks like it has some of the spangled markings on the cheeks.

Bream are easy for me but bass is a different for somereason

definitely a spangled. I think the definition for using a cast net is that it needs to be Tidal. Spangled Perch can live in quite brackish water if required. I get them occasionally in the tidal section of Enogerra creek.

sorry, i was unaware they showed up in salt/brackish. good to know. :cheer:
