Who needs a Sign

Well after being down here for awhile now , Thought we would do the \"touristy thing\" and have a look around.

Went up to somerset dam for a look see, mainly wanted to check out fishing conditions and ramp etc. Arrived at the Spit ,very nice well maintained park aera , clean facilities Just needs more WATER. You can see from the marks on dam wall how much it has droped.

Ramp ; A make shift ramp has been placed along side the main ramp.Concrete slabs with blue metal . Solid ground on the side as well if you want to launch from bank. Water there is abit shallow.Thought i'd post a pic if anyone is thinking about going up that way.

I did a bit of work around the Coominya/Atkinson Dam area and kept meaning to take a picture or two of the area adjacent to the Atkinson Dam caravan park area.

There is a very prominent sign 'on the watrers edge' next to the ramp telling all prospective water skiers to only skill in a certain direction.

The only issue is standing next to the sign you cant even see any water. The dam has been officially at 0% for about 18 months now.

What make a great 'What the?' if anyone can slip out there with a camera.
