Whats your favourite AFO event or social and why?

AFO swap meet coz u get a great bargain and get to meet up with the guys. Keep up to date on gossip :whistle: and swap fishing stories, laid back with a bbq.

The XMas party. Although last years party-on was pretty lame until I hit The Salisbury alone.

Voted for swap meet out of that group, as its a chance to catch up and have a chin wag.

Also enjoy the social meet ups, take out someone in your boat you have never had onboard before and then back for a BBQ, beer, bullsh!t segment

Winter camp at Hienze as its the only fishing camp I have been to. Also liked the swap meet at wello

i enjoy the state of origin as us fishos seem to pick a better team than the nrl selectors we actually have a chance

Steak and oranges has been the pick of them that i have been to a bit banter between state's meeting the guy's from NCF and a lot of fun in general i also caught my 1st jack to boot but in saying that I won't be there this year.

The state of origin last year was awesome, not only the meeting different people, fishaing and the banter, but the fact its in a new place, AWAY from Brissy is/was the biggest reason. Next for me would be the Moreton and Brissy classics.

Well haven't been to an event as i joined early this year but i'm booked in for MBC, Winter Camp & SOO. Went to the BFo Wanderers at Borumba, that was fun hanging out with fellow AFO'ers

winter camp, like tomca says, what goes on tour...., although i have yet to attend any other events, need to fix that , maybe next though, timing sucks for this year.

I'm along the same lines with nearly everyone needing to camp you all come back later on and swap fishing stories of the 1 that did or didn't get away have a few brews annoy the locals/stiffs etc etc

The AFO Wanderers socials even though not in the criteria here are still some of my favourites with meeting new people and catching up with old freinds
