Snapper Frames - Burley & Bait

Have never tried it but just curious if anyone has....

Using Bits of Snapper frames for Burley or bait

Does it work or my guess would be a deterrent

It certainly would not be a deterrent. Fish eat fish all day everyday - even their own kind.

Can't hurt I say.

I have heard that if you are fishing for snapper, and they smell their own kinds blood, they instantly go off the bite. Not sure if this is correct, but this is what I have hreard. But if you are just fishing, I am quite certain that snapper frames will be great burley!

Never used snapper for bait, but they would go great in a crab pot

i have used legal squire as big cod baits before lol, i dont see why not
