BCF stradic F1 special.( rip off in on line store)

Graham was after aone of the stradics that BCF advertised in their catalog for $169 Yesterday afternoon the Cannon Hill store told me that Capalaba had them in stock so we dropped in on the way back from NPD only to be told that the special was no longer available.

I have just had a look at their on line store to see that they were still available and thought you beauty so I clicked on the purchase nbutton and got this.

Items in your cart: 1

Freight: $25.00

Total (ex GST): $176.37

GST: $17.63

Total (inc GST): $194.00

$169 for the reel.

$25 for freight ( Anaconda only charge $10 freight for a reel.

Then $17.63 gst;

So the total ends up $194.

Needless to say not going ahead with purchase.

Yep they always get you on the freight, I managed to find a reel in the states and the freight was only $15 compared to some other sellers who wanted nearly 40 for the same reel Makes you wonder.

That sounds more like the BCF I know, I might have been premature in suggesting they were maybe on the improve

I wouldnt think a retailer like that would add GST onto their prices... Dodgy!

always thought online store prices would include GST. BCF sucks

For the Stradic F1, it was only a $30.00 saving, not really worth it. But the C14s were also on sale for the same price, down from $290.00 or there-abouts......Awesome saving!!! I picked up a 2500 size C14, and am stoked. I have found the online store to be consistent, in that it negates the savings on their discounted prices by smashing you on the freight!!!
