sold baitcaster wanted

i have several pistol grip rods and no baitcaster...anyone got a second hand one that they can part with?....not real keen to buy a spanker as im a bit rough on reels( ash will know what i mean :blush: )...just pm me with some prices and the models..

I love to use the baitcaster rods with my egg beaters, much easier on the hand than the threads of the reel mount (baitcaster reel seats are upside down compared to normal rods)

yer i have a mate that does the same....im keen to get a baitcaster to troll for bass...i love my spinning reels dont get me wrong....

I've used Ray's baitcaster at Awoonga last year, (an Abu I think) and I have got a cheapy off Ebay to play with, but the casting distance is to limited for me. I take it out every now and then if I am using live bait for some fun, but otherwise stick with the eggbeaters.

Yeah i have a great baitcaster, shimano culcutta which i got for last years Awoonga trip that i didnt get to go on. Problem is i hardly ever use it. I much prefer egg beaters. Even when i do use it i have very limited succes on it

I will prob hang on to it though for the day when i finally get to Awoonga or NT.

Also i really want to target jacks next summer. So i think it might be good for live baiting around bridges etc.
