queensland Another Week

Hi guys, well an easy couple of days this week with just a couple of quickies to fill in the days off.

First trip was to the Nerang with Scott who is a club member and customer, to see if the whiting were on the move downstream yet, simple answer no, best fish still well upstream.

Ended up with 20 good quality fish during the day with one major slow period in the middle while the tide turned.

I don't think there is anywhere else to go for an easy feed of fish.

This mornings quick troll was to see if the flathead were on the move yet, same as the whiting no way water still way to cold at 17 degrees.

Only managed 4 and only one of those was legal.

Another quick troll on dark this afternoon to see if the trevs were still there and to target the bigger fish that were sitting deep last week.

Better news this time, plenty of them there and the big fellas were down deep as well, warmed up on a few littlies then trolled some big lures for a couple of good ones.

Home in time for tea and still in the good books, can't get any better than that.
