Launched from the main ramp at slack tide around sunrise

Headed out and moved around for an hour or so for nil interest. When the current picked up I got onto a few 20-35cm sweetlip

It was well after 8 when the first little squire came out to play and with the sun up by the time they came on I moved out deeper to 6 metres of water and picked up a few pan size fish.

Dinner sorted off the water by 9am. I was suprised there were no boats fishing the drop off with the really nice morning that is was out there.

Gear I was using was 6' Gunslinger with a 1500 reel loaded with 3 lb fluro and a 7' trion loaded with 6lb braid, and interestingly not a single fish on a blade. All fish on plastics.

Nice to see a few legal squire comming out to play... Was that first one on a dimiki armour???? Were you round the hibis marker or out the front of the channel markers??? ThAnks for report can take some good motivation for tomorrow from that! !! Callum

got bumpy around 7 then glassed out again, and when I came off the water at 9 it was still fantastic out there.
