SP at Night...???

How well to SP go at night....?

I was using some Nuclear Chicken Shirmp on the weekend, just on dusk .. the small squire could leave it alone.. (not to many hookups, small squire).

But I thought as it got dark they would stop hitting it... I couldnt test my theory as we didnt have lights onboard and had to be back at the ramp before dark...

So in the dark of night how well to SP go??

Anybody got some experience in this???

I've personally never caught anything on SP at night, but that may be beacuse i've never really persisted.

But I have witnessed a mate catch a 42ish flattie on a SP at around 4am, so it was dark at that time.

I've used them at night and they do work. I think only the scented one work at night. I've caught a couple of bream at night with them before.

we cought squire and bream on them on sat night, it was a full moon though but just use the really dark colours. there is another post about this, most likely in the soft plastic section.

most times when i go out for a softy session a dont usally start to get fish untill the sun comes up but i have caught fish on them before the sun hits the water so i guess they do work at night

Was never a prob for me and a mate to go out fishing with SP's at night and catch well over 40 flathead and a hand full of huge bream every session on SP's...
