queensland Another Noosa report

Launched this morning 4:30am at the Boreen point boat ramp and hit the everglades for some more Tarpon action with my mate Scoota who had never experienced these fiesty Jumping beans. On arrival there wasnt much surface action however the sounder told another story.

We stared off throwing ac55 lures and recieved a few half hearted bumps and then proceed to try every thing in the tackle box. As the sun started to beam over the water.The tarpon started to play.

Poor old Scoota kept cathcing catfish while I started jumping Tarpon off left right and centre, I couldn't hook a catfish if I wanted to, he landed 7 Catfish before he experienced his first Tarpon hookup and jump off. By 8am Scoota had finally landed his first and second Poon.
