queensland Hard work on the Pine

Headed out nice and early this morning to hit the pine at sun up. On the water at 4.30 just prior to sun up and headed up stream to the highway bridges. Bait everywhere and through pretty much everything at them, Greedy Guts 66's, Crack Jack 38's, surface lures and whatever else I had pre loaded for nil result. Hit

Hit the pylons for the same result and headed up into the south to hit all the snags coming back down with the tide. Again bait moving around and plenty on the snags for nil result. Headed up to the water treatment plant up past castle hill, bit on the nose this morning. Hit the snags and rock walls all the way back again for nil result.

So decided to hit my lizard spot with my home made plastic and broke the donut with a lizard at 47. Was nice to have a tension on the end of the line.

Hit the bridges again at low for an hour again for nil result. So it was a lot work for the one fish but at least I was out on the water. And Jack evades me again, I think I might be ruing the missed fish with Rob earlier in the week.

lol i was down there today fished the hornibrook bridge pilons for a 52 cn flattie and a 47 cm jewie and a moses perch near the crap farm wall on a blade

caboolture river is the place to be for jacks at the moment late april and still biting

The bream should be on at the treatment plant at this time of year, natural coloured 2 and3 inch prawn plastics on the lightest jighead with tiny twitches should do it.

been smoked there multiple times so maybe the jacks are around there too

Yes I have to agree it does sound like hard work for one lizard, so I am sure no one is going to chip you for rounding up the measurement to the nearest 5cm ;-)
