Must admit they are good fun on a light outfit.

Getting a bit worried about the numbers of tilapia in the shallower water. I downsized my hook to a no 1 and a fish every cast and biting on anything, dead shrimp.bread.redclaw flesh salami doesn't matter.

Hope the water level drops significantly over summer and then a really cold winter to kill the buggers off.

Getting them in one of the bays upstream,.

I was talking to another guy and he says that they are everywhere in around 10 feet of water.

I don't want to hyjack your post mate, but are you able to point me in the right direction to catch those pesky Tilapia? I baught the young girl her first rod for her birthday and I want to get her into a load of fish for the day. I have a boat however no permit so land based for us.
