queensland Bay 4/12/11

Hey everyone, yesterday weather was very unpredictable, however it turned out to be a magical day on Moreton Bay. Didn't see alot of boats out, but was a good break from all the Northerly winds and strong southerly's. We went out yesterday looking for schoolies and Spotted macks, and tuna, but couldn't find any. Harry Actkinson was holding so much bait, most I've ever seen. I scored myself a nice Jack on the 20meter mark. The jack was released after many attempts to revive it, we realized that the swim bladder must of been up as he just couldn't get to the bottom, so a quick poke and we heard air coming out, and the way he went.

Nice work mate. It was quite a nice day out there yesterday and as you said not many people out. There was a lot of bait out there, all around 3 inch's. Quite a few schools were following me. Got me thinking I really should look at trolling smaller lures.

At that size, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he would of just recently ventured out of the estuary to the reefs?
